When Martha came to the Women's Intercultural Center she immediately understood the unity of all the women at the Center.  They all have one goal and that is to help each other. So she took a class in advanced oil painting.  This is when she realized she could do something with her talent.  She later participated and graduated from the Small Business Development Academy.  She was taught the importance of having passion and spark.  "I now know where I want to go and how to get there. I realize that I never took my talent as something important, until now because it is something I am good at and it makes me feel good.  Now I can be focused on my goals and determined to get to them.  I can now expand my horizon and explore the work of art and its beauty." says Martha.  Her reignited passion and talent is demonstrated in her work.
